The programme provides solid theoretical and practical foundations for students interested in pursuing professional research and production of goods in the fields of bioeconomy, quality of life, the environment. The student acquires multidisciplinary knowledge and skills in biological, chemical and engineering subjects, useful for transferring the basic mechanisms of life sciences to industrial applications of a productive scale. The training course is characterized by numerous single-station didactic laboratories and is completed with the activity of an experimental internship, to be carried out at national or international bodies and institutions, which allows the student to contextualize the theoretical and practical foundations acquired in an operational reality.

Admission to the second cycle degree programme in Molecular and Industrial Biotechnology requires possession of a first cycle degree or a bachelor degree awarded after three years of study, ora foreign qualification recognised as suitable. Additionally, it requires possession of curricular requirements and to have passed an assessment test.
