The main objective of this degree programme is to provide second-cycle graduates with advanced scientific knowledge for the management of sporting facilities and the organisation of sporting events.


During the course, students obtain knowledge and skills in the field of sporting activities and physical exercise that are relevant in legal and operational terms to the areas of strategic planning, business organisation, sports law, marketing, communications and the planning of activities at local level.


Additionally, students obtain knowledge about sports facilities and the equipment safety.


Particular attention is dedicated to the organisation of tourism, sporting and wellness activities.


A further objective of the degree programme is to provide second-cycle graduates with advanced scientific knowledge about the management of SportsClubs operating at the highest level.


These objectives are achieved via lectures, seminars and meetings with experts in the field, as well as case studies; lastly, an experiment-based dissertation is prepared on a topic relevant to the curriculum studied.

In order to complete successfully the second-cycle degree programme in Wellness and Sport Management it is necessary to have acquired sufficient knowledge of the basic concepts underlying the sporting, legal and economic disciplines. Knowledge and competence in B-1 level English is assessed via the University Language Centre. Students with equivalent language certification may be exonerated.
