In the first year of the Building-Architecture Degree Programme, students will gain a solid foundation in the disciplines of mathematics, physics, history and representation. More specifically, with regard to mathematics and physics, students will gain an understanding of scientific and experimental methods and acquire the knowledge necessary to resolve technical problems relating to the concept and design of buildings and real estate. With regard to the history of architecture, students will gain a historical understanding of architectural works and the ability to critically evaluate them in relation to their context and the techniques employed. As regards the methods used to visually represent architecture and living space, students will learn about the different aspects of the discipline as a tool of knowledge, elaboration and communication of the design concept. This programme is available in Italian.
