Aston Healthcare Science (Audiology) BSc (Hons) -Direct entry to Final programme offers students the skills needed to provide a range of audiology healthcare services as an audiologist working in the NHS or independent sector. Aston welcomes applicants who have completed the Aston University Foundation Degree in Hearing Aid Audiology, as well as those who have completed a similar Foundation Degree in Hearing Aid Audiology at a recognised UK institution to apply for this direct entry to final year progression route. This Level 6 Top-up programme is suitable for practicing Hearing Aid Audiologists with relevant professional body registration (e.g. Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser with Health and Care Professions Council). The course is accredited by the National School of Healthcare Science (NSHCS) which is part of healthcare Education England (HEE) and by the Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists (RCCP). It is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Graduates from the course are eligible to apply to register with the Academy of Healthcare Science (AHCS), Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists and the Health & Care Professions Council.
