Professional Studies (BSc)

The part-time BSc Professional Studies focuses on professional development and practice, reflecting on one’s practice in the workplace, and uses conceptual models to improve his/her insight into workplace activities. Each student will also undertake a workplace project, enhancing their expertise in the workplace through academic study and research at degree level. Based in the School of Business, Economics and Informatics, the Department of Management is an internationally recognised centre of excellence in teaching, research and consultancy in the broad field of management. The academic staff have particular research strengths in international business and strategy, the management of innovation and entrepreneurship, human resource management, corporate governance, sport management and marketing, as well as financial management and accounting.
