This MSc provides students with the skills needed to understand the mechanisms and master the processes through which innovative ideas are developed and turned into market applications. The interdisciplinary program blends strategic, managerial, organizational and economic approaches to analyzing innovation and technology, both at firm and market levels. Students develop the analytical skills required to understand the dynamics of technology within and across organizations; the decision-making abilities to turn technological opportunities into new ideas; and the problem-solving attitude to make successful innovations out of new ideas. Learning is facilitated by a variety of courses, workshops, and direct involvement in international research projects, including the opportunity to interact with leading scholars and managers in the sector. Graduates take on roles related to the analysis and management of innovation projects at consulting companies, multinational and high-tech firms, international organizations, regulatory authorities, or work as researchers for the development of new products. They may also create and launch their own business or undertake a PhD program in economics or strategy.
