Our Economics degree is flexible and you’ll have a range of career prospects such as an economics analyst or a professional forecaster. Your studies will include a module on econometrics to help you to develop the data modelling skills using computer programmes – a skill highly valued by finance and investment employers. If you decide to study professional accountancy after you graduate, our degrees offer some exemptions to ACCA and CIMA papers. As part of your studies, you also get training and access to industry analytical tools including SAS, Eviews, Bloomberg, Reuters and STATA. Economics at Brunel is ranked 57th in UK and 9th in London (The Complete University Guide 2018). As a graduate of this course you will be exempt from some professional accountancy exams.
