The Sprott School of Business offers a Bachelor of International Business which is recognized as a leading program in international business education. With a focus on international business, you will develop cross-cultural skills, become proficient in another language and study abroad for a year in a country where that language is spoken. In this concentration you will develop the skills required to design and execute international business strategies by linking a firm’s global environment with its internal operations and structure. Special attention is placed on the role of human resources in framing and implementing comprehensive strategies through hiring, training and evaluating personnel. Understanding the challenges of managing a culturally diverse workforce under contrasting conditions is a key factor for success in this field.
