Legal and Forensic Psychology has experienced notable development in recent years, constituting a field of specialization and a fully consolidated professional profile at a national and international level.

The master's degree has been conceived from a professional and professionalizing perspective in the field of Forensic Psychology, from the figure of the coordinator of the master's degree to the global cadre of professors.

The faculty is made up of professionals from the Law and the field of Psychology, partly from the health field, and mostly by teachers actively engaged in forensic practice, with professors of renowned prestige in the professional field who combine the professional practice as forensic with an extensive career in reference research in Legal Psychology.

In addition, this postgraduate program is one of the few titles in its field in Spain that has a university or official character.

2. Practical and professional approach

The student will teach his practices (a total of 250 hours) in selected centers of recognition in forensic practice, with prestigious Forensic Psychology professionals in the private sector (endorsed by the Official College of Psychology of the Valencian Community), and in the public sphere, in institutions dependent on the Public Administration in the judicial context.

3. Seminars and workshops for the real world

The master's degree includes seminars by experts in forensic investigation taught by specialized bodies of the National Police, by judges and by forensic psychologists who are part of professional recognition entities in Forensic Psychology at the national level, as well as by experts in communication and soft kills. that will act as guides for the most complete and up-to-date professional practice.

And it contains practical workshops that will provide you with:

  • rigorous training in skills and personal resources for the defense of Forensic Reports in court,
  • and experience acting as a forensic psychologist. Not only will you acquire knowledge, you will also develop and put into practice the essential skills to act as an expert psychologist in trials, through the synergy established with the Master of Law at our university.

4. Research and professional specialization

  • We offer you specialized scientific training to support your reports with updated references of the highest level of research.
  • Also in skills training for the development of scientific research publications in conferences and scientific journals.
  • And in professional resources to start your professional activity and to establish the development of synergies with legal professionals and develop your professional activity on your own.
