Master in Maritime Law

This master's degree is the only one in Barcelona that offers solid training, not only in Spanish maritime law, but also in aspects of maritime law in England and Wales and the specific operation of the maritime business in the United Kingdom. 

The vast majority of contracts in the maritime sector are subject to British common law, so a specialization in this matter cannot be understood without addressing the English legal and economic aspects, assumed by the vast majority of countries in the world with access to the sea.

For this reason, the Abat Oliba CEU University offers this specialization focused on the business of maritime transport and the law of England and Wales, offering the possibility of carrying out professional internships in companies and law firms specialized in this field and in this jurisdiction.

In the program, it also has outstanding international professors, from the United Kingdom and Greece, who travel to the Universitat Abat Oliba CEU in Barcelona to train our students in English maritime law and in the specificities of the maritime business. With this, in addition, the maximum guarantees of quality in specialized training at the state level are offered.
