Master in Sports Physiotherapy

1. First Official Master's Degree in Sports Physiotherapy offered throughout the Valencian Community

It is the first Official Master's Degree in Sports Physiotherapy offered throughout the Valencian Community. The program focuses on the prevention and rehabilitation of sports injuries, and prepares the student to determine a correct diagnosis and apply the appropriate treatment to the dysfunctions generated by sports practice.

2. Clinical competences of the physiotherapist and access to the doctorate

The Master's Degree in Sports Physiotherapy offers professional training that improves the clinical skills of the physiotherapist, and also grants access to the doctorate, enabling the student to start the development of his doctoral thesis.

3. Global training: from the scientific approach to clinical practice

Through the scientific approach, the levels of evidence of the diagnostic and therapeutic procedure are established to establish clinical practice.

The professionalizing approach pursued by the Master allows us to delve into the scientific strengths and weaknesses of the treatment of sports injuries, as well as to improve and increase the tools available to the physiotherapist to deal with the musculoskeletal ailments of patients.

On the other hand, the student will acquire the necessary skills to carry out a critical analysis of the level of scientific evidence of the interventions used in routine clinical practice.
