The Master's Degree in Access to the Lawyer Profession is a legal requirement regulated in Law 34/2006, of October 30, indebted to the European legislation contained in several Community Directives aimed at achieving an improvement in access to the professions and in the homogenization of the requirements demanded in each member country for access to qualified professions, and supposes the need to complete some training studies for the exercise of the profession of lawyer or solicitor. The Escorial-María Cristina Royal University Center is a Center attached to the Complutense University of Madrid with more than one hundred and twenty years of history that meets the most demanding standards of academic quality and that ensures, through the completion of this Master, the optimal training to face the theoretical-practical written test required by our current legislation as the last requirement for access to the exercise of the professions of lawyer and solicitor.

Admission Requirements

If you come from an EU country you must have a bachelor's degree from a Spanish university, or from a university in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).

If you are a graduate from outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) you can access the university without the need to officially certify your degree, once the UCM has verified that your level of studies is equivalent to a bachelor's degree at a university in Spain. Access via this route does not in any case imply the official certification of your degree prior to starting your Masters course.
