The teachings of Master's Degree in Social Communication that are developed are structured in such a way that the students progress from general knowledge to specific knowledge:

  • General knowledge is offered during the first year, which consists of two common and compulsory modules.
  • The specific training is given in the second year.

The set of modules in which the teachings of the master are organized, with their corresponding subjects, is reflected in the structure of the study plan. The variety of fields in which social communicators can carry out their activities makes it convenient to open Postgraduate studies in Social Communication to all university students who have at least a Bachelor's degree. Most undergraduate university studies are relevant for Postgraduate training in Social Communication:

  • Students who come from Communication or Information Sciences careers will be able to find new applications for their journalistic, advertising or audiovisual knowledge.
  • The same can be said for psychological, sociological or pedagogical knowledge; economic or legal; artistic or cultural; linguistic or epistemological, of those who have completed degrees in Social or Human Sciences.
  • Likewise, students who have studied Exact, Biological or Health Sciences have a place in this program.

All of them can access the Master in Social Communication if they meet the corresponding requirements (see the requirements for admission to the Master).
