Curtin University is an internationally focused research and teaching university located in Perth, Western Australia. Curtin University’s Faculty of Humanities offers degree programs that are relevant to society and have both a global and local focus. Curtin’s humanities students have the option of studying abroad through programs taught in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Mauritius and Vietnam.

Curtin’s Humanities staff conduct a wide range of pure and applied research, often collaborating with Australian and international university partners, as well as government organizations and industry. Curtin has a reputation for its practical research that is focused on creating solutions for timely, real-world problems. In recent years, Curtin’s research activity has grown significantly, driving Curtin’s rapid rise up the international university rankings. They are ranked in the top 100 universities in the world for the subjects of Architecture and Built Environment; Art and Design; Education and in the top 200 for Geography.
