The Law, Human Rights and Social Justice LLB at DMU is a qualifying law degree. This LLB will cover the core law content that the Bar Standards Board and the Solicitors Regulation Authority require, as well as studying how individuals are protected and how they interact on issues such as immigration, housing and state benefits. Teaching will be conducted through a combination of lectures, tutorials, seminars, group work and self-directed study. Assessment is through coursework (presentations, essays and reports) and usually an exam or test, which is typically weighted as follows in the first year: Exam: 70%; Coursework: 30%.
