IMT Mines Ales

IMT Mines Alès technological University is a member of the prestigious Institut Mines Télécom (IMT). Located in the south of France, between Spain and Italy and close to Rhône river corridor linking Northern Europe to Southern Europe.

IMT Mines Alès is an international Campus. In 2021 it hosted 192 international people coming from 45 countries.

It is well ranked in several national and international Rankings : 9th position within the French system and top 400 in the world in the THE Impact, top 10% in the world Webometrics Ranking, top 20% in national rankings.

IMT Mines Alès awards 300 engineering degrees per year. Students complete their generalist common core programme by specializing in one of the following 6 specific fields: Civil Engineering and Sustainable Building; Ecomaterials and Processes; Environment Risk and Energy; Subsurface Engineering and Mineral Resources; Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence; Industrial Performance and Mechatronic Systems.

All the programs are designed in close connection with the research centers and with industry.

IMT Mines Alès is very well known for its original education in the fields of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship. It has very close links with companies at the local, national and international levels.

Research at IMT Mines Alès is developed in 6 laboratories dedicated to environment and water ressources, to risks sciences, to Ecomaterials, to Civil Engineering, and to Digital Health. It has favoured the emergence of multidisciplinary research projects. IMT Mines Alès is co-accredited in several Masters degrees, participates in several Doctorate schools and is co-accredited to deliver PhD degrees.

IMT Mines Alès is endowed with very significant technological facilities, distributed in its research and teaching centers and in the mechatronics platform.
