SPECIFIC ADMISSION CRITERIA:

Candidates for the LLM postgraduate program should hold  a recognized Bachelor’s degree in Law or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. A School Council appointed committee will review degrees other than Law. This committee will take into consideration the following criteria:

  • Relevance of the subject of the Bachelor's degree to the concentration of the Program
  • Indicative list: 
  • For the concentration of International Commercial Law: Bachelor in Economics, Bachelor in Business Administration, Bachelor in International and/or European Studies. For the concentration of Public Law: Bachelor in Political Science and/or Public Administration, Bachelor in International and/or European Studies), and/or
  • Minor in Law, and/or
  • Completion of Law courses during the Bachelor's degree (at least 25 ECTS), and/or
  • Relevance of professional experience to the subject of the concentration.

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENT:

  1. A completed application form together with a non-refundable fee of €52*. Applicants may also apply online here.
  2. Official copy of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in English (or official copies of professional qualifications)
  3. Official copy of academic transcript, in English
  4. Official copy of High School Leaving Certificate and grade marksheet in English
  5. Proof of English language proficiency (if any)

  7. Proof of work experience (if applicable)

Founded in 1961, European University Cyprus (EUC) was granted university status in 2007. It is the first Greek university to be awarded the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) Label by the European Commission, one of only 40 European institutions with this distinction. EUC is located in Nicosia, Cyprus’ capital and largest city. The university is situated near the center of political, economic and cultural activity in the country. EUC’s researchers coordinate or participate in a number of prestigious projects funded by the European Commission and the Research Promotion Foundation in Cyprus.

All Master’s and PhD Programs have been approved by the Accreditation Committee of Private Universities of the Ministry of Education and Culture and are recognized worldwide. European University Cyprus has six schools: the School of Arts and Education Sciences, the School of Business Administration, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the School of Sciences, the School of Medicine and the School of Law.
