The BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics at EUC prepares students to play a key role in good health and nutrition that is essential to an individual’s quality of life. The program prepares students with knowledge and skills to promote healthy eating and lifestyle choices and to cater to special nutritional needs in medical or institutional settings. The program is developed to meet the requirements set by international professional associations such as the European Federation of the Association of Dietitians (EFAD) and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics of the United States.
Nutrition and Dietetics students undertake practical training in hospitals, health centers, schools, nursing homes, sports federations and food industries as part of the degree. Graduates of the program are eligible to register for the Cyprus Board for Food Scientists, Food Technologists and Dieticians and to continue to become fully qualified clinical dietitians through postgraduate study.

*Proof of English language proficiency : Knowledge of the English language is not a requirement for admission. At European University Cyprus, applicants whose native language is not English take the university’s English Placement Test (EPT) upon arrival at the university to indicate their English level and be placed in appropriate courses. Applicants who have passed either the TOEFL examination with a minimum score of 550 (213 computer-based, 79 Internet-based), English IGCSE with grade ‘C’ or above, or IELTS with a score of 6. 5 or above are exempted from the EPT. Other external exams may be accepted by the Language Center of the University as equivalent. Please consult with the Office of Admissions for more details. Candidates, whose English proficiency is not up to the university’s standard, have the opportunity to take additional English language classes according to their degree requirements.

Founded in 1961, European University Cyprus (EUC) was granted university status in 2007. It is the first Greek university to be awarded the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) Label by the European Commission, one of only 40 European institutions with this distinction. EUC’s Center for Applied Research was established in 1991 as an independent, non-governmental institution, providing market research, training, and consultancy services to public and private sector clients. The Center also emphasizes the importance of accurate, ethical data collection, sharing the findings of CAR projects as widely as possible. EUC’s faculty collaborates with scientists from some of world’s best universities including Harvard, Oxford, Imperial College London, Cambridge, University College London, King’s College London, Queen Mary, and the University of London. EUC’s researchers coordinate or participate in a number of prestigious projects funded by the European Commission and the Research Promotion Foundation in Cyprus.
All Master’s and PhD Programs have been approved by the Accreditation Committee of Private Universities of the Ministry of Education and Culture and are recognized worldwide. European University Cyprus has six schools: the School of Arts and Education Sciences, the School of Business Administration, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the School of Sciences, the School of Medicine and the School of Law.
