German Institute of Science and Technology – TUM ASIA

Established in 2002, German Institute of Science and Technology - TUM Asia (TUM Asia) is a subsidiary of Technische Universität München (TUM) in Singapore and the result of the first ever German - Asian universities partnership. TUM Asia is also recognised by Ministry of Education Singapore, as an Institute of Higher Learning and is regularly audited by the Council of Private Edcuation of Singapore. Ranked as one of the three elite Universities by the German government in 2006 and obtained an Excellence Award, TUM is a premier address in Europe as one of the most innovative institutions of higher learning in Germany. It is renowned for the quality and diverse opportunities it offers its students. Through the joint Master programmes with Singapore’s renowned universities, the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), TUM Asia programmes distinguish themselves among others by bringing together experts from world-renowned universities and aim to bridge academic education, industry knowledge and research to qualify young professionals for technology-oriented leadership roles in a competitive global economy.
