The Bachelor of Languages and Linguistics (Honours) is a one year full-time or two-year part-time program of 80 credit points. Graduates of this program will have: a high level of proficiency in their chosen language; an understanding of the basis of intellectual enquiry and of research methodology; experience in undertaking research in a linguistics related area; additional knowledge in some areas of culture and history relevant to their chosen language. During enrolment, in the dissertation component of this program, it is expected that students will be able to work independently for most of the time. The requirement for on-campus attendance is relatively flexible and unstructured.
