ESB Business School stands for outstanding international and practice-oriented education and training, as well as for focused, application-oriented research. Respect, trust, responsibility and personal commitment are the values which guide our actions. ESB Business School, as part of state-funded Reutlingen University, is aspiring to become the most international business school in Germany.

Our attractive internationally and practice-oriented education and training programmes appeal in particular to highly qualified applicants who, after graduation, seek challenging tasks in companies and organisations in an international context.

As of summer 2019, ESB Business School is AACSB accredited, thus counting itself among the top 5% of business schools worldwide.

The city of Reutlingen, an established centre of industry and commerce with over 100,000 inhabitants, is situated in the state of Baden-Württemberg which is on the most prosperous regions of Germany. One of the cornerstones of Reutlingen University with approx. 5.800 students is its international dimension. With partnerships throughout the world, the campus offers an atmosphere full of diversity.

Join us for a tour of the campus with everything you need for working, learning and living just a short walk away.

In the state-of-the-art learning center in the middle of the campus there is an extensive selection of specialist literature - from physical books to e-books to an electronic journal database.

The Reutlingen campus has modern, well-equipped lecture rooms. More important than the equipment, however, is what takes place in the rooms. Whether in lectures, workshops, project work or guest lectures from industry, it is always about practical relevance and new perspectives.

Working in quiet with your laptop or meeting fellow students to work on a group project, both are possible on the Reutlingen campus. In addition to quiet individual places, the learning center also offers, for example, computer rooms, group rooms, a lounge and a cafeteria. It is good to know that there is WIFI throughout the campus because in summer a lot of people make use of the attractive "field offices", a shady spot beneath a cherry tree, benches outside the canteen and seating areas in the inner courtyard.

The Center for Entrepreneurship promotes innovation and entrepreneurship. The diverse opportunities for those interested in starting up a business range from workshops to competitions to coaching. The city of Reutlingen even provides rent-free office space right on campus for business start-ups.

Hands-on learning for aspiring business engineers also takes place in modern teaching and research centers and laboratories: Werk 150 is a model manufacturing company with its entire industrial value chain. In the logistics factory the focus is on the planning and optimisation of logistics processes. In the virtual engineering and training center the students use digital and virtual factory tools. Laboratories for automation technology, CAD and ERP, finance and communication technology make the infrastructure complete.

The heart of campus life naturally beats in the halls of residence, the canteen and the sports facilities. Whether you would like to attend a panel discussion, got to a campus party or the cinema, there's always something going on. And if you want to take an active part in university sports, orchestra or theatre, just come along and give it a try.

Admission requirements and the admission process vary depending on the programme you are interested in. Please check our website for further information.
