Recruitment of International Students
• KNU recruits international students from 60 countries two times in October and April each year
• KNU supports the admission of international students by admission assistants
• KNU uses social networking sites (SNS) of each country for public relations and admission consultations

Programs for Adaptation to Korea
• Studying Korean : Support for TOPIK tuition fees and application fees
• Adaptation to School Life : Monitoring, one-to-one tutoring, buddy program, supporters (support for admission and stay counseling), and counseling center
• Various Cultural Events : Chuncheon City Tour, Coal Briquette Volunteering, Marine Sports Experience, Traditional Hanbok Wearing Experience, World Food Festival, International Students’ Night
Signing the Management of Exchange Agreements with Sister Universities
• KNU hosts co-research and academic conferences with students and professors of more than 315 universities from more than 59 countries
• KNU actively promotes the exchange agreement renewal and finds new universities to exchange with through periodic monitoring
International Exchange Program
• Eligibility : Proficient in Korean or English, completed at least 2 semesters at KNU partner university, GPA 2.7 out of a 4.0 scale or above (or 3.0 out of 4.5)
• Tuition : Exemption for exchange students
• Courses : 50 ~ 60 courses taught in English provided each semester, student’s course registration Min 3 credits ~ Max 18 credits
(Students can take at least one course / maximum 18 credits each semester)
• Friendly Support programs : Airport pick-up, Buddy program, Korean culture events, welcome & farewell party, Chuncheon city tour, etc.
Employment Support Program
• Job competency enhancement program to support international students' preparation for employment in Korea and abroad.
• Special lectures are held to provide employment information, such as employment systems, visas, and job search platforms.
• Assistance in writing the letter of self-introduction and resume, interview simulation etc. customized 1:1 consulting.

Freshmen can apply for on-campus housing for the first semester of admission by selecting the 'On-Campus Housing' option on the school entrance application form.
Enrolled students can personally apply for dormitory accommodation from the second semester through the website 「 http://knudorm.kangwon.ac.kr 」
To apply for a Residency Card, you can visit the Office of International Affairs (OIA) at the beginning of the semester (March and September). Fill out the application form for the registration card, and the OIA will submit the application to the Chuncheon Immigration Office on your behalf.
※ However, to apply for a residency card other than the indicated registration period, you must visit the immigration office personally and submit the required documents.
