All academic programs are designed in accordance with international academic standards, are practice-oriented, and meet the current demands of both national and global labor markets.

Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University is an active participant in international academic cooperation and academic mobility programs. Within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, the University has established sustainable partnerships with universities in France, Finland, Uzbekistan, Brazil, Vietnam, and other countries. In particular, University students study at the University of Poitiers (France), while professors from foreign universities are regularly invited to teach and conduct joint research. The University also actively cooperates within the Association of Caspian Region Universities (Iran, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Russia) and the Turkic States’ “Orkhun” program, which support academic mobility for students and faculty and foster the development of dual-degree programs.

With the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the University implements special programs to attract international professors from leading universities worldwide. Currently, invited professors from the United Kingdom, France, Finland, Russia, Oman, Hong Kong, Bahrain, Indonesia, and other countries are working at the University. At the same time, the University continues to expand its network of direct international partnerships by signing memoranda of cooperation with leading foreign universities and research centers to enhance its international visibility and competitiveness.

University professors and researchers participate in major international research projects, including Erasmus+ projects in partnership with universities in Finland, Brazil, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Lithuania, and other countries. In the future, the University plans to expand its participation in international consortia and projects under the Horizon Europe program. Concurrently, the University conducts large-scale research funded by national programs (Program-Targeted Funding and Grant Funding), as well as with the support of regional and industry stakeholders. These efforts enable systematic modernization of research infrastructure, upgrading of laboratory facilities, and the implementation of advanced digital and computational solutions, including the installation of a high-performance supercomputer to support research at internationally recognized standards.

Athletes of Khalel Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University proudly represent Kazakhstan at international competitions, including World Championships, the Olympic Games, and the Asian Games.
