Faced with the economic and social challenges and the evolution of biotechnology, the training of competent executives capable of mastering the concepts and technologies related to productivity and quality while taking into account the protection of the environment and risk prevention is a priority. Thus, in a context marked by the intensification of agricultural activities and plant production and on the lookout for technological innovations, it is increasingly necessary for Algeria to develop training in the field of biotechnology and improvement of biological resources in order to meet the expectations of society and meet the challenges related to the agreements of globalization and free trade. The launch of this doctoral training is part of this context and aims to provide scientific and operational elements to train skills capable of managing and understanding the biotechnological developments, related to a change in the perception of the agricultural sector and its management, in order to contribute to the development of a productive agriculture, sustainable and environmentally friendly.
