The field of professional activity of graduates in the direction of training "Technology of production and processing of agricultural products" includes: research and technological development aimed at solving complex problems in the organization of production and processing of agricultural products. Master receives knowledge and mastering methods, methods of regulation of technological processes, calculation of raw material consumption and time norms, assess the quality of the product, investigate the quality of food products.

The objects of professional activity of graduates in the direction of training "Technology of production and processing of agricultural products" are: agricultural crops and animals, technology of production, storage and processing of agricultural products, equipment of processing industries, facilities and equipment for storage of agricultural products.

Master's degree in the direction of training "Technology of production and processing of agricultural products" is prepared for the following types of professional activities: research; organizational and managerial; design and technological; pedagogical.

Tasks in the relevant professional activities and professional standards of graduates are developed with the participation of interested employers.

Master's degree in the direction of training "Technology of production and processing of agricultural products" should solve the following professional tasks in the relevant professional activities and professional standard.

a) research activity:

- assessment of the scientific and technical state of production and processing of agricultural products on the basis of collecting and analyzing information;

- conducting independent scientific research using the latest methodologies and analyzing their results;

- organizing and conducting experiments on the development of innovative technologies of production and processing of agricultural products;

- statistical processing and analysis of experimental results, preparation of scientific reports, formulation of conclusions and recommendations for production;

- analyzing domestic and foreign trends in the development of product processing in agricultural production.

b) organizational and managerial activity:

- to organize and carry out the management of structural subdivisions of the agro-industrial complex;

- ensuring labor safety in the production process;

- control over compliance with technological and labor discipline at enterprises;

- determination of energy and economic efficiency of crop and livestock production, and making optimal technological solutions to improve its competitiveness;

- conducting marketing research on agricultural markets.

c) project-technological activity:

- development and realization of modern innovative, environmentally safe, resource-saving technologies of agricultural production, adapted to a variety of soil-climatic and technological conditions;

- design and adaptation of technologies of processing of agricultural products to the conditions of various enterprises;

- organization of entrepreneurial activity on production, storage and processing of agricultural products;

- readiness to apply a variety of methodological approaches to modeling and designing food products;

- consulting on innovative technologies of agricultural products processing.

d) pedagogical activities:

- development and implementation of professional educational programs;

- conducting training sessions on educational programs of higher and professional education;

- arrangement and modernization of separate laboratory works and workshops on disciplines of the direction;

- conducting certain types of classroom training sessions, including laboratory and practical ones, as well as providing research work of students;

- use modern psychological and pedagogical theories and methods in professional and social activities.

Graduates of universities, who have fully mastered the basic educational program of higher professional education in Master's degree and successfully passed the state final certification in the prescribed manner, are awarded a diploma of higher education with the qualification "Master". 

The normative term of mastering the basic educational program of higher professional education training of masters in the direction of "Technology of production and processing of agricultural products" on the basis of higher professional education in full-time education is not less than 2 years, which corresponds to at least 120 credits.

Master's programs at the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K.I.
