The Bachelor of Business (Marketing) offers a specialized set of marketing skills as well as foundation in business. This degree is designed to equip students with the required skills and knowledge to become a marketing manager or related marketing positions. In the first year, students will be introduced to a range of business disciplines such as accounting, economics and finance as well as completing the first subject of their major in marketing, learning how marketing is defined, planned and delivered. From the eight-subject major taught, students will gain insights on how to create and communicate effective marketing strategies plus studying consumer behaviour, advertising, marketing research and strategic marketing. With nine electives, students can complete a second major in a business discipline, for example management or international business, a language, an international student exchange, or any other eight-subject major offered at the University such as public relations, media or Asian studies. Through a team project which seek for solutions in solving social, environmental and business problems, students will gain practical skills. This degree is accredited by the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) until 2018.
