The Master of Information and Communication Technology offers advanced skills and knowledge needed to advance in ICT career. In second year, students will work in a small team to plan and develop an industry-focused software or IT project. Students will also get to choose from a large selection of computer science, electronic engineering and networking elective subjects to deepen their knowledge in areas that interest them. Throughout the course students will learn to develop smart solutions to real problems in a collaborative team setting, graduating with the full suite of relevant skills and knowledge required to get ahead in the global ICT job market. Among other things, students will learn about project management, system design, testing and documentation. The Master of Information and Communication Technology is accredited by the Australian Computer Society (ACS). Graduates of the Master of Information and Communication Technology may apply for membership with the ACS. Membership may be subject to additional or ongoing requirements beyond completion of the degree.
