Students from all over the world who have completed a minimum of two years in spatial, interior, product, visual communications, interaction design or graphic design are eligible to apply.
Students are organized into one of three DN MADE programs, depending on their previous studies:
• 3rd year International Class / DN MADE Digital Media Design
• 3rd year International Class / DN MADE Retail & Interior Design
• 3rd year International Class / DN MADE Industrial Products
The completion of this 3rd year program leads to the obtention of the DN MADE, National Diploma in Fine Arts, Crafts and Design which is a state-controlled degree and leads to the award of a bachelor degree after three years of studies.

• Le Diplôme de design Bac+5 is based on a five-year curriculum, divided into two cycles:
Undergraduate level: a three-year undergraduate studies in French
MDes, a two-year postgraduate course taught in English or French
The undergraduate course taught in French are organized over three years, as the first part of the five-year curriculum:
The 1st year of undergraduate studies
Dedicated to the basic learning of design and creation. 4 design and project methodology workshops are offered in Digital Design, Graphic Design, Space Design and Product Design.
These 7-week workshops allow students to refine their choices for their future careers and further studies in 2nd and 3rd year.
2nd and 3rd year levels of undergraduate studies:
The 2nd and 3rd year of the undergraduate course are organized around 4 major design specialization. Students will be able to personalize their course according to their skills and appetences through an option system, by choosing one design specialization, and one option related to the specialization.

Our master programs (MDes) are based on thematic approaches, organized in two years. We offer 4 programs taught in English, for students who completed 3 years of studies in design equivalent to 180 ECTS credits:
One program taught in Nantes, France:
3 programs within our international studios; focusing on the exploration and acceptance of different cultures within an applied, interdisciplinary context.

These MDes programs are taught in English, and are open to students who have completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent in industrial design, graphic, interaction, product or spatial design. A successful completion of this 2-year full-time programs leads to our Master's Degree in Design which is fully accredited and certified by the French Minister of Higher Education.Completing a Master’s degree program at L’École de design means:
