Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) can trace its roots back to 1823 and the foundation of Liverpool Mechanics’ and Apprentices’ Library. We’ve come a long way since then, becoming a university in 1992 and we are now ranked 60th in The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2018.

LJMU offers over 240+ internationally recognised undergraduate degree courses to choose from. Most of our courses include work-related experience so you can learn in practical, real world settings. Our students say their experiences have proved invaluable in equipping them with the skills and confidence they need to secure their dream job. 95% of our students are in work or further study within six months of graduation (Destination of Leavers from Higher Education 2016/17).
