Manchester Metropolitan University

Manchester Metropolitan University has more than 10,000 students studying for a postgraduate qualification.

We have one of the widest range of postgraduate study options in the North West of England; from part-time to full-time, short courses to CPD, and Masters of Arts/Science across many subject areas. In total, we offer more than 250 postgraduate taught programmes.

More than 70 professional bodies and associations work in partnership with the University to provide courses that are relevant to industry. We are well placed to take advantage of our location in Manchester, part of Europe’s 12th largest regional economy (£120 billion). Home to well over a quarter of a million businesses, we are in the second largest media hub in the country, and the largest financial and professional services centre outside London.

We produce outstanding research in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, vascular pathology, surface engineering, advanced materials, education, social policy, creative writing, history, and art and design. We are the UK’s top modern university for quality of research in education and sociology, and for power of research associated with health professionals. 85% of the impact of our research is rated world-leading or internationally excellent*.
