In this 2-year course, students will learn specialist forensic disciplines including bloodstain pattern analysis (BPA), fingerprint and impression analysis, pathology and injury interpretation, anthropology and archaeology, forensic DNA and forensic chemistry. Each student will also complete a year-long research project to further hone their expertise as part of this course’s requirements. For degree holders in science, or a relevant bachelor's degree, this course will give the skills needed to help in criminal investigations.

A recognised Bachelor Degree (AQF Level 7) with evidence of studies in biology or biochemistry or chemistry, or, completion of the Graduate Certificate in Forensic Science (Professional Practice) (C1131) or Graduate Diploma in Forensic Science (Professional Practice) (G1085) with a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
