The Master of Theological Studies (MTS) degree allows students to immerse themselves in the history, beliefs, texts and practices of the Christian tradition. On this degree, students will gain in‐depth and critical knowledge of the main branches of theological study through learning about biblical studies, church history, systematic theology and practical theology. Students will be encouraged to ask questions, think critically, reflect deeply and act ethically in their engagement with both theology and their wider environment.

Recognised Bachelor's degree in a cognate discipline or recognised Honours degree in any discipline. Entry is also possible once satisfactory progress has been made towards the Graduate Diploma in Theology, subject to the approval of the Academic Chair. Consideration will be given to prior learning in Theology for possible advanced standing of up to 24 points of credit toward the Master of Theological Studies.
