The establishment of our Master’s Program is intended to meet the needs of contemporary Waldorf teachers for professional and personal growth on the one hand, and to respond to the urgent call of our time for self-awareness and actions for sustainable development on the other hand. Our students will be engaged in research projects independently or collaboratively in order to study the nature of human beings, to deepen the art of teaching, to reflect upon practical experiences, and to meet the challenges of our times.

We provide an academic platform where teachers can develop through cooperative learning, dialogues and reflections, along with individual research inquiries. The body of faculty consists of outstanding professors from National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan and the Freie Hochshule Stuttgart.

All courses will be taught in English (with Chinese oral translation when necessary) or in Chinese. The diversity of the composition of the student body will constitute a rich and heterogeneous cultural environment for all to learn from one another. It is particularly beneficial for those who are interested in the Chinese/Taiwanese language and culture to come to study in such a culturally nourishing environment. The program will enroll students every other year.

The program aims at providing students with learning opportunities, such as gaining an awareness and abilities to address pedagogical challenges in the era of globalization and digitization, cultivating capabilities of artistry, self-reflection, and self-education, acquiring methods of conducting independent inquiry and research, along with developing the necessary insights and creativity to initiate changes.
