Undergraduate Overview

Rapidly changing work environments and economy needs are pushing organisations to seek new competencies from fresh hires. There is now greater ambiguity in the economy and national boundaries, and a greater use of ICT, data analytics and other emerging technologies. A growing number will also veer from the traditional job market to launch start-ups or work as free-lancers.

Incoming freshman can expect to take a transformative journey through our new curriculum (revamped as of AY2017/2018), and be A.G.I.L.E. through an Academically rigorous and flexible curriculum, diversity of Global and experiential opportunities, Industry-relevant infrastructure, varied options for Leadership development and highly Entrepreneurial environment. Through the full NUS BBA and BBA (Accountancy) experience, students will forge ahead with confidence and future-readiness, poised to thrive in an increasingly dynamic and volatile marketplace.

 • General Education Modules

2. Programme Requirements (94 MCs)
 • BIZ Core Modules (13 modules worth 50 MCs)
 • BIZ Specialisation Modules (6 modules worth 24 MCs)
 • Honours Programme Modules (5 modules worth 20 MCs)

3. Unrestricted Elective Modules (46 MCs)

1. Academic Orientation Modules:
 •  BPM1701 Calculus & Statistics
 •  BPM1702 Microsoft Excel Skills for Business

2. Intensive 1st-year primer module:
 •  BPM1705 Understanding How Business Works

3. Career Preparation:
 •  Career Creation Starter Modules
a. STR1000 Career Creation Starter Workshops
b. STR2000 Career Creation Starter Clinics
 •  Global Immersion and Study

Note: Students may graduate with the BBA general degree upon completion of 120 MCs, comprising the general education modules (20 MCs), core modules (50 MCs), specialisation modules (24 MCs) and unrestricted elective modules (26 MCs).
