This MSci Nursing (Adult and Mental Health) qualifies graduates to work as a dual registered nurse in both adult nursing and mental health nursing. This programme has been approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Students will work with adults experiencing significant mental distress or behavioural problems. Topics covered in this programme are: Family Health and Wellbeing; Adult with complex care needs; Global Health; Therapeutic Use of Touch in Healthcare Settings; Approaches to Challenging Behaviour. Students will also gain practical experience through direct care experiences with adults at hospital and community throughout Oxfordshire. There are also specialist placements available in the surrounding counties.
