The business world demands professionals in accounting who possess solid competences related to the organization, analysis and management of financial information, which is crucial to make entrepreneurial decisions.
At PUCP, based on a humanistic, ethical and multidisciplinary perspective, we have taken the challenge to train accountants who can perform competitively in top level companies, both national and international, or to work  leading their own companies. For that reason, we have identified the company needs to play an important role in the professional profile of the Accounting Program and its corresponding curriculum, developed on the basis of an academic training by competences integrating knowledge, skills and attitudes through innovative strategies of teaching-learning related to the workplace.

About University

The Pontifical Catholic University of Peru is the oldest private university in Peru, founded in 1917 by the priest Jorge Dintilhac. It reaches its centenary, occupying the first place in the national sphere and one of the first positions in Latin America.

For this reason, it promotes quality research at all levels of academic training, from general studies to postgraduate studies. It has more than 22 research centers and laboratories.
