A publicist is in charge of design and implementation of communication strategies based on the organization philosophy and the study of the public and its markets. It offers greater credibility to the brands and reliability to their products, it increases their value, which promotes sales and fosters changes in the consumption habits. In this respect, in the professional practice of the publicist, it is essential the planning, creation and execution of marketing and advertising campaigns in traditional and nontraditional media. As a publicist from PUCP, you will be able to create and execute marketing and advertising campaigns, as well as to research and observe trends and processes originating innovation and new resources in the areas of planning, management and broadcast technology. Therefore, you will contribute to the setting of entrepreneurial, social or governmental stances in favor of the organizations and the society.

The Pontifical Catholic University of Peru is the oldest private university in Peru, founded in 1917 by the priest Jorge Dintilhac. It reaches its centenary, occupying the first place in the national sphere and one of the first positions in Latin America.
