International Relations is a discipline that studies the behavior and interactions of the different actors that participate in the International System, be these States, International Organizations, Transnational Companies or others. These dynamics can be of another nature (political, economic, military, social, cultural), hence their interdisciplinary nature. Furthermore, in a globalized context, determined by issues that concern everyone, from free trade and migration, to organized crime and terrorism, International Relations seeks to understand and analyze these processes. Finally, International Relations are a fundamental tool to understand the role that Peru has in the world. Peru's presence in the world is growing, so it is necessary to generate opportunities for its better knowledge, development and consolidation.

About University

The Pontifical Catholic University of Peru is the oldest private university in Peru, founded in 1917 by the priest Jorge Dintilhac. It reaches its centenary, occupying the first place in the national sphere and one of the first positions in Latin America.

For this reason, it promotes quality research at all levels of academic training, from general studies to postgraduate studies. It has more than 22 research centers and laboratories.
