In a social State of Rights and justice proclaimed by the current Constitution of the Republic, the response of the Law School is necessary as the trainer in the guiding principles supported in such a way that its different branches can be articulated with a legal logic, and that the professional manages to be a proven promoter both in legal science and in its application, with an analytical criterion of the current legal regulations and a capacity to respond to the requirements of advice and defense, both of individual and collective rights, in harmony with the current provisions.


In accordance with the National Plan for Good Living, the legal professional trained at the Catholic University is capable of guaranteeing the validity of rights and justice, as well as guaranteeing access to public and political participation.


In relation to the National Development Plan, the Santiago de Guayaquil Catholic University declared the domains that involve the career of law in humanistic, intercultural, scientific development with Good Living, articulating the public, private and civil society.


Object of Study: Theorizing on legal praxis for the construction of justice that responds to local, national and international social needs, and attention to sponsorship or advice on individual rights and/or collective rights.

Requirements The process of entering the career includes the following alternatives:
Admission exams.
  • The average score per subject must be 7.00 / 10.00
The mandatory requirements to enroll are:
  • Admission request
  • Passport-size photos in colors (3)
  • Legible copy of identity card in color.
  • Legible copy of the voting certificate in color.
  • Original of the Degree Certificate endorsed by the Ministry of Education or a notarized copy of the bachelor's degree.
  • School conduct certificate (original)
  • Result of the psychological test.
  • Copy of a basic service sheet.

Foreign student
  • He will not present a certificate of conduct, but must deliver three original certificates of good repute.

Professionals
  • In case of being professionals, those who wish to enter, they must deliver a color copy of the notarized professional title that will replace the Certificate of degree or notarized title and certificate of conduct.
Homologation
  • Approved students are not required to deliver the psychological test.
  • Homologation report (in case the student enters by homologation).
