Bachelor of Human Services / Bachelor of Justice

Bachelor of Human Services/Bachelor of Justice degree reflects how closely associated these two study areas are and it concentrated focus on community, support services and the justice system. It has a strong focus on contemporary social issues and will develop skills in casework and case management, social policy processes, group and team practice skills, advanced communication, community work, and understanding families and relationships. This double degree allows students to explore child and family services, disability services, services to young people, and Indigenous health. Students can either choose policy and governance or criminology and policing as the major in the justice degree. This double degree also integrates a 500-hour placement which are available in local, regional and overseas locations.
