Friday 19 April 2024, 1 pm - 3:30 pm

On this day you will take a tour of our campus, taste the atmosphere and hear what it is like to study at Radboud University. You will not receive any information about the specific programmes on this day.

Register

At a Molecular Sciences student at Radboud University you will learn about all aspects of the synthesis and functioning of molecules; from solid state molecular chemistry to spectroscopy and to the chemical biology that lies at the basis of health and disease. This programme combines theoretical courses with research internships in a multidisciplinary environment. You can choose from six specialisations to define your field of interest within Molecular Sciences:

Chemistry of Life

In the Chemistry of Life programme at Radboud University you will learn how cells work from a chemist’s perspective and will become an expert in the chemistry of all biologically relevant molecules. You can start to use chemistry to probe and modify cellular function, work on new drug delivery methods, or get hands-on experience with single cell technologies.

Medicinal Chemistry

In the Master's specialisation Medicinal Chemistry you will deal with the discovery, design, development, targeted delivery, and both pharmacological and analytical characterisation of drug substances.

Molecular Chemistry

The Molecular Chemistry Master's specialisation programme at Radboud University is a creative science programme where chemists synthesize molecules with new biological or physical properties to address scientific or societal challenges. Think of catalytic conversions, lead compounds for future medicines or the next generation of conducting polymers.

Physical Chemistry

Most chemical research involves trial and error approaches to synthesis and characterisation of new molecules.  This Physical Chemistry Master's specialisation at Radboud University goes one step further: it aims at fundamentally unravelling the properties of molecules and materials.

Science in Society

The interdisciplinary approach in the Master’s specialisation in Science in Society at Radboud University will equip you with the knowledge, tools and skills to be a professional intermediary between science and society while getting a broader societal perspective.

Science, Management and Innovation

The Master's specialisation in Science, Management and Innovation at Radboud University focuses on organisational struggles with societal challenges such as sustainability, health, energy, and IT security. The programme will provide you with expertise in a societal challenge and the ability to speak the language of policy and business.
