Postgraduate Overview

Zurich’s SBS Swiss Business School (SBS) offers a wide range of postgraduate courses to prepare students and further develop their skills for careers in International Management, International Business, Global Finance and Banking, Marketing and Entrepreneurship or Human Resource Management. SBS Swiss Business School is ranked as number 2 in Europe in the QS MBA ROI Report 2018 for best earning MBA alumni and also ranked 26th in the 2017 QS Distance/Online MBA Rankings.

SBS offers the following postgraduate courses, all with a strong combination of the latest theory, practical applications, and personalized study paths:

Entry requirements for the MBA and Master programs include:

  • An undergraduate degree
  • GMAT score of 550 or Passing the SBS admission exam
  • Fluency in English (TOEFL IBT 90 or above, IELTS 6.5 band score or above)
  • Personal interview with an admissions officer
  • Work experience (For MBA programs only)

Entry requirements for the Doctorate program typically include:

  • An MBA or Master’s degree, or equivalent, from an approved University or equivalent;
  • Substantial (not less than five years) experience at executive/management level.
  • DBA candidates must be able to demonstrate from their education and/or professional performance their potential to undertake research at a doctoral level. They should be able to show success in their career to date and document how the DBA program fits into their personal or career plans for the future.
  • Fluency in English (TOEFL IBT 90 or above, IELTS 6.5 band score or above)
  • A 1000 word outline of their proposed research topic/idea as part of their admission application submission.

Tuition fees for both local and international students are:

  • CHF 25,500 (~US$ 25,000) for the MSc
  • CHF 32,000 (~US$ 31,990) for the MBA
  • CHF 27,500 (~US$ 35,490)  for the EMBA
  • CHF 17,250 (~US$ 17,400) for the online MBA
  • CHF 40,000 (~US$ 39,990) for the DBA

Merit-based scholarships are available for outstanding applicants.
