Our integrated Automotive Engineering masters degree focuses on the mechanical engineering aspects of the automotive field. If you want to work with suppliers, manufacturers and specialist enterprises in the automotive and motorsport sectors - with companies such as Bentley, Ford, Jaguar Land Rover and JCB - this course could meet your goals. Our facilities include computational fluid dynamics (CFD), finite element analysis (FEA) and Ricardo WAVE engine simulation and analysis software. We also have strong work placement links, so you’ll gain valuable experience as part of your study. The integrated masters degree lets you benefit from an additional year of advanced specialist modules together with a multidisciplinary group project and an industrialbased project. It also fully satisfies the educational requirements for professional registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng). Graduates work with manufacturers, tier one and tier two suppliers and specialist enterprises in the automotive and motorsport sectors. Many now work for companies such as Ford, Jaguar Land Rover, Bentley, Cummins and JCB. Others have continued their studies.
