Bachelor of Arts in Adult and Organizational Development

Temple University's undergraduate program in Adult and Organizational Development prepares students for careers in the field of adult and organizational development. Coursework in this academic major gives students the communication skills and analytical abilities to: design adult training programs, conduct organizational interventions, develop change management processes, conduct effective team development programs, facilitate group decision making, manage interpersonal conflict and design dispute resolution systems. Graduates of the program are prepared to begin adult education careers as trainers, performance assessment specialists, managers, group and organizational consultants, mediators, negotiators, and learning and development specialists. These professionals are needed in a diverse range of settings, including for-profit and non-profit organizations, educational institutions, governmental agencies and community organizations.
