Postgraduate Overview

Thammasat offers graduate degree programs in all fields, covering sociology, humanities, science and technology, and health sciences, in Thai, bilingual and international programs.

There are two types of lecture sessions: normal programs in office hours and special programs in the evenings or on weekends.

Students on master’s degree programs can pursue their own interests in research-oriented programs. Students are required to complete a “thesis” to contribute to a new body of knowledge or conduct a specialized study in their industries or careers.

The doctorate degree programs encourage students to conduct a “dissertation” research contributing to the country’s development and new technologies.

Find out about subjects covered for each program here.

Thammasat also offers non-degree Programs for foreign students from universities that have an agreement with Thammasat University. Find out more about these programs here.

Learn more about admissions by contacting the Academic Admissions Division; Office of International Affairs; Office of the Registrar.

Tuition fees vary per program. The average fees for international students at postgraduate level are approximately US$4,200.

There are several student loan funds and scholarships available. For more information, contact the Student Affairs Division or Office of International Affairs.

International students and visitors can find out more about programs offered here. You can also take a look at the Handbook for International students.
