The constitutional reform of 2011, which requires all authorities within the scope of their powers to promote, respect, protect and guarantee human rights; However, until now, its study has focused more on the public function and jurisdictional exercise, however, this obligation goes further, since such obligation involves all professionals in any area of knowledge who have a power or command whether in fact or in law.
If by Human Right, we understand " all those rights that each man or woman has for the simple fact of being one and being part of the society in which they live", the implication of this constitutional reform implies a scope to all areas of knowledge, since Human Rights import knowledge of a large number of subjects and needs of daily life: education, health, environment, access to justice, sports, family, access to information, to name a few.
Therefore, given the limitation of multidisciplinary studies in the field of Human Rights that allow a thorough understanding of the social problems that they imply and therefore find solutions that close the gap between law and reality, the University of Guadalajara through the Center University of Tonalá, endorses its social commitment by training experts and researchers dedicated to the creation, analysis, evaluation and promotion of scientific knowledge in the field of Human Rights, which contribute not only from a legal perspective but also from a multidisciplinary perspective, to the effective satisfaction of the needs of society and thereby generate better conditions for citizens.
