The Doctorate program in Political Science is a research-oriented, full-time postgraduate program.
The offer of this postgraduate program is framed in the mission of our university by contributing to the construction of better local governments, the preparation of public servants, as well as the strengthening of organized civil society that allows a more egalitarian, free society. and fair. The demand for this type of specialists is growing and the Ciénega University Center as an entity of the University Network is obliged, through the training of specialists and the generation of relevant knowledge, to be part of the process of social transformation and the resolution of problematic. The postgraduate program also contributes to the decentralization of the educational offer both at the state and national level by offering postgraduate options outside the metropolitan area of Guadalajara.
The program is designed to be covered in six school cycles, and thus guarantee terminal efficiency through the organization of the different learning units in such a way that the last cycle focuses on thesis writing work.
