Language and Literature Pedagogy

We train professionals in Language and Literature with an anthropo-ethical vision that apply communicative, literary and investigative competences in order to detect, investigate and intervene pedagogically, socially and culturally in educational and cultural institutions to contribute to the social transformations, necessary in the conservation and defense of the identity and diversity of the Ecuadorian intercultural and socio-linguistic heritage, oriented to the practice of Good Living. The professional will be prepared to develop as a teacher at different levels from the basic initial stage to the higher, since Language and Literature are essential subjects in the different education subsystems. Cultural institutions are also included, as we want this professional to have a much broader profile, to be able to work in: - Publishing houses, printers, Houses of cultures, Heritage, Museums, Art Galleries, Libraries.
