The Master of Nursing in Critical Care of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of UNIANDES, is a professionalization program oriented to the care of adults and children in highly delicate health situations. The program offers comprehensive training through interdisciplinary work, service and research, with actions that seek the well-being of the patient and their family. Graduates from this program will learn to: Apply knowledge and skills on Critical Care Nursing care of patients in the clinical, surgical and pediatric dimensions, which allows an effective performance in Emergency, Emergency and Critical Care units in the various health institutions; Apply methods, models and protocols for Critical Care Nursing processes with scientific and technological foundations; Participate and conduct research projects on nursing processes aimed at improving the quality of health services; Apply the most current theoretical and practical foundations of Critical Care Nursing services through participation in courses, trainings and specializations; and Develop Critical Care Nursing processes in correspondence with the needs of society, from the perspective of interculturality, gender and multinationality, in the Ecuadorian reality.
