Such a professional must accompany the growth of organizational and social needs for performance indicators and measures. It will be able to direct its performance to the areas of accounting and auditing, or to economic and financial controllership, which aims to evaluate the most favorable use of the organization's resources and the most appropriate means for raising them. The Accountant must have skills and abilities to develop, analyze and implement accounting information and management control systems, ethically exercising the attributions and prerogatives provided for by the relevant legislation. For this, in addition to preparing business reports of an economic-financial nature that contribute to performance, he must be accustomed to the use of logical and critical-analytical reasoning to solve problems.

The accounting professional's field of action is not purely technical, but increasingly requires choices and judgments guided by institutional, cultural, ethical, political and social aspects. In this context, the FEA-RP Accounting course aims to train graduates capable of understanding social, economic and financial issues in different organizational models, ensuring them mastery of functional responsibilities involving analysis, recognition and measurement of different accounting facts, audits, expertise, arbitration, accounting and financial analysis and projections, with full use of technological innovations.
